Printer

Printer is an electronic output device that receives the data stored in the computer and prints it on a blank page. The printout produced by the printer is called hard copy, which is the physical form of electronic documents. Some printers can print only black and white and some printers can print colors.

The printer is usually connected to the computer via cable but at the present time the printer's technology developed, which can be printed using a printer sitting away from Bluetooth, WiFi and cloud technology.

History of Printer

The history of printers began around 1938, when Chester Carlson invented a dry printing process called electrophotography. 2. Non-Impact Printer

1. Impact Printer :~ The Impact Printer comes in direct contact with the page so that the character can be printed on paper. Impact printers use electromechanical components to print on paper. The impact printer has a metal head that bump into the ink ribbon. The ink ribbon is then pushed onto the paper. As a result, the appropriate letter is printed on paper. However, there is a lot of noise in the process. The impact printer works just like a typewriter.

2. Non-Impact Printer :~ Non-impact printers do not have any physical contact between printing mechanism and pages to print characters and images, so they are called non-impact printers. In non-impact printers, some use ink spray to print and some use special electrical machines. Non-impact printers do not use any electro-mechanical mechanisms like impact printers. Hence the non-impact printer does not make much noise. The non-impact printer is capable of printing black and white and color. A non-impact printer is the most common type of printer that is used the most. A non-impact printer can print in very good quality.
