Summary

‘Bharat is my home’ is a speech given by the president of India dr. Zakir Husain. Dr. Zakir Husain calls India a young state with ancient culture. He pledges to up hold the timeless value realized the people through thousand of years.

He pledge to serve all the people irrespective of their caste, religion etc. He believes that the process of growth of national culture and character is constant. And education is a prime instrument for national purpose because quality of character depends on the quality of education.

He says that the Task of reconstruction of the material and cultural life of people demands work. So, We have to serve our society to achieve a better and a more graceful way of life.
